Launch of Social Work Education Awards<\/h2>\n

In the development of its activity and pursuing its\u00a0mission of promoting Social Work education in Europe<\/strong>, the\u00a0EASSW is launching an award for<\/strong>\u00a0educators, students, researchers, professionals, volunteers and service users which significantly contribute to an improvement of quality in Social Work Education (SWE).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>The EASSW is honouring these awards to\u00a0promote social development and develop high quality education<\/strong>, training and knowledge for social work practice, social services, and social welfare policies in Europe.<\/p>\n

The awards consider\u00a0three different categories and awards<\/b>:<\/p>\n

1. Alice Salomon Award<\/b><\/p>\n

Award on innovative pedagogical and practice experiences in Social Work Education<\/p>\n

2. Research Award<\/b><\/p>\n

Award on research in Social Work education<\/p>\n

3. Student Award<\/b><\/p>\n

Award for social work student project or thesis<\/p>\n

The\u00a0call for submissions<\/strong>\u00a0will be open for each category and submissions can be made\u00a0until Monday the 24th of April 2023.\u00a0<\/u>The submission of the awards shall be submitted by the nominees themselves or by a third party. Submissions can be done using the application forms on the EASSW website or by clicking here:\u00a0Alice Salomon Application Form<\/a>\u00a0;\u00a0Research Awards Application Form<\/a>\u00a0;\u00a0Student Award Application Form<\/a><\/p>\n

Preselection of award nominees:<\/strong>\u00a0For each award category a maximum of three award nominees will be selected by an award judging panel including one EASSW officer, 2 EASSW Executive Committee Members and one or two EASSW members. The preselection of the nominees will be communicated on\u00a0Monday the 29th<\/sup>\u00a0of May 2023 at 1pm, UK time.<\/u><\/p>\n
