The Canadian Association for Social Work Education \u2013 l\u2019Association canadienne pour la formation en travail social (CASWE-ACFTS) is a national, charitable, association of university faculties, schools, departments, and modules offering social work education in Canada.<\/p>\n
March 13, 2020 \u2013 Given the challenge of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and the evolving public health threat, the Executive Committee, on behalf of the Board of Directors of CASWE-ACFTS is assessing rapidly changing information in an effort to implement measures to safeguard the health and well-being of staff, volunteers and the broader community. As a response to the spread of Covid-19 and in the attempt to minimize its spread and work towards the safety of our community, we have decided to promote and support\u00a0social distancing<\/a>. This has implications in several areas of the Association\u2019s functioning.<\/p>\n April 1, 2020 \u2013 The Federation of the Humanities and Social Sciences made the decision to cancel its face-to-face Congress at Western University in June 2020 and move to a virtual event.
