8th Annual Global Well-Being and Social Change Conference<\/strong><\/div>\n

This year\u2019s conference,\u00a0<\/strong>Global Citizenship:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Acknowledging interconnectedness and cultivating social justice<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0invites presentations (paper, roundtable, and workshop) that explore the realization of social justice and human rights\u00a0and its myriad dimensions and manifestations.\u00a0 Our conference welcomes research that identifies barriers to social justice and human rights, as well as strategies (policies, programs, and practices) to promote social justice and human rights across diverse populations.\u00a0 These presentations may be original research, theoretical framework(s), clinical interventions, pedagogy, and\/or policy\/advocacy.\u00a0\u00a0Human rights are complex and multifaceted; strategies to enhance it require equally complex and interdisciplinary responses.\u00a0 Scholars, practitioners, students, and agents of social change from all disciplines are encouraged to submit proposals.<\/p>\n

The conference will held\u00a0\u00a0APRIL 14-16, 2021<\/strong>\u00a0at Millersville University<\/strong><\/div>\n

Proposal Rules<\/p>\n

1. Submitted proposal should fall under one of the following formats:<\/p>\n

Paper:\u00a060 minute presentations of original research, theoretical framework, and clinical interventions.\u00a0Roundtable:\u00a015 minutes of presentation followed by 45 minutes of interactive discussion on a variety of topics related to the conference theme with conference participants.Workshop:\u00a060 minutes of educational, interactive, and experiential learning activity2. After proposals have been accepted, changes to presenters are not permitted.<\/p>\n

3. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.<\/p>\n

4. If accepted, all presenters agree to register for conference and pay applicable conference fee.<\/p>\n

Proposal Deadline:\u00a0All proposals are due no later than\u00a0December 31, 2020 by 11:59 pm\u00a0EST.<\/p>\n
