Launch of East African Regional Resource Center<\/h2>\n

4th Regional Resource Centre (RRC) of International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW)<\/h3>\n

We are delighted to inform you that the International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) Capacity Building Committee and the Board of IASSW granted a Regional Resource Centre (RRC) status to Makerere University hosted at the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (DSWSA).\u00a0 While this RRC will primarily serve the East African region, its benefits are envisaged to extend to the rest of Africa because it is the first RRC in the ASSWA context.\u00a0The DSWSA is looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with ASSWA on a range of strategic activities to promote excellence in social work education, research and practice.<\/p>\n

Please note that the launch of this prestigious centre will be online, which we request you to grace with your presence on Thursday 24 June 2021 starting from 2-4pm EAT and below is the registration link.<\/strong><\/p>\n
