Media reports show that that 25 people, including a chemistry professor, were killed and around 50 others injured in the terrorist attack on the University this morning. Bacha Khan also known as Abdul Gafar Khan (1890-1988)\u00a0after\u00a0whom\u00a0the University is named was a social reformer and peace-loving man. Symbols of peace are being continuously destroyed by terrorist groups and fear being created in our communities. We stand in solidarity for peace and compassion. We condole all the families who have lost their dear ones whose life was struck down so suddenly when they could have grown to be productive citizens in their country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Vimla V.
