IASSW 人間の尊厳に関する声明   国際ソーシャルワーク学校連盟 (IASSW) は公正で排除のない世界の達成に尽力し、人間の尊厳を、ソーシャルワークの教育プログラム、教育戦略と方針、および研究に反映した、ソーシャルワークの価値および人権として支持します。 IASSWは 全ての人々を、尊厳をもって平等に扱い、排除をなくすことに尽力します。そうすることで、その人々は価値を認められ、仲間に加えられ、目的を持つことができ、福利が増進されたと感じることができます。尊厳を持って平等に扱われることは人権の基礎です。階級や人種、性別、国籍、文化、性的指向、教育、宗教、あるいはその他の区別に関わらず、全ての人が尊重されなければならないことは、人間であることからくる権利なのです。人間の尊厳は努力して得るものでなく、人間が生まれながらに持っているものです。 人間の尊厳は、責任と尊重の理解のもと、自分が能力や選択で選択する人は誰とでも、政治的に、精神的に、社会的に、または親密に交わる自由を、そして社会的なグループや政治権力から、恐怖や否定的な干渉をされることなく、自我、アイデンティティ、つながりを持てることを意味します。 IASSW は人々が他の人の権利や責任を損なうことなく、権利を行使し、責任を全うする重要性を認識しています。そのためには、他の人への潜在的な影響を個人間から国際間のすべてのレベルで考慮する必要があります。
