About NACASSW

The North American and Caribbean Association of Schools of Social Work (NACASSW) is a regional body of the International Association of Schools of Social Work. NACASSW encourages cross-country collaborations and sharing of educational methods and materials and promotes faculty development at the regional level.  The presidency of NACASSW rotates among Canada, the Caribbean, and the United States.

General Assembly

General Assembly of the IASSW is usually convened once in two years, usually during the biennial congress. Representatives of IASSW member schools,
