In Memory of Heinrich Schiller (1925-2016)

This is an obituary of one of IASSW’s Presidents from 1980-1988. He passed away in Nürnberg on the 10th of November 2016, but with his long and active life he has left traces that will be remembered in times to come. Several autobiographical and biographical portraits by himself, by colleagues and friends are available and the social literature is full of references.* This brief obituary is only an orientation through challenging times.
