IASSW Online General Assembly 2020

IASSW held its Online General Assembly 2020 on July 30, 2020. It was attended by many members and Board of Directors of IASSW from all five continents/ across the world.

Prof. Annamaria Campanini who will continue her presidency in the next 4 years (2020-2024) thanked all executive committees and board members for their support over the past years especially during these unusual times. Dr. Barbara W. Shank will also join Prof. Campanini in the next 4 years as Secretary. Not to mention a warm welcome to the two new members at large Alexandra Mustafa and Jessica Jönsson! Congratulations!

It is also exciting to see the updates from all working committees in promoting social work education and development. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemic, social workers from every corner of the world stand in solidarity with the society and community under the new normal period. IASSW hopes that international community can continuously recognize the effort from social work education.
