In Remembrance of Prof. Vimla Nadkarni

It is with great sadness that the IASSW announces the passing away of Dr. Vimla Nadkarni on the morning of 20th November 2021. Dr. Nadkarni was an Emeritus Professor and also the Past President of IASSW from 2012 to 2016 and Immediate Past President from 2016 until her demise. Her leadership and life-long dedication to improve the development of social work education in India and internationally, will continue to inspire all of us. Our deepest condolences to her family. May her soul rest in peace.
