The concept of Globalization now runs unchecked all over the world. Irrespective of national borders, the people, their level of awareness or their culture, it spreads out at an unstoppable pace. But even so, social work, both within and without, has to be aware. How will social work develop from now on? How will International Social Work contribute to the development of social work itself? Lecturers will be sharing their journey in International Social Work theory and the prospects for its future. Ahead of the historic milestone of the 100th anniversary of International Social Work, ARIISW-Shukutoku University will begin a discussion with the participants with a view to stepping forward into the next several decades.
Co-organizer: Japan Association for Social Work Education (JASWE)
