IASSW expresses appreciation to the Center for Social Development (CSD) at the Brown School at Washington University for the invitation to visit St. Louis and engage in dialogue on advancing global social work through our shared commitment to social work education, research and social development. The fireside conversation between IASSW President Antoinette Lombard and Brown School Dean Dorian Traube, moderated by Michael Sherraden, offered valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities for social work and the search for innovative ideas and solutions to the complex challenges confronting societies and communities. Commitment and collective action are required to build a global social work profession that contributes to inclusive and collective futures.
